Installation

  1. Navigate to the Start Menu and choose Apache Tomcat 5.5  Tomcat Manager.
  2. Advance to the WAR file to deploy section and browse to the ExpereTestingSystem.war file on the Expere DVD.
  3. Click the Deploy button. After deployment, ExpereTestingSystem will appear in the Applications section.
  4. Click the Stop link.
  5. Navigate to the Tomcat installation location you choose to install Tomcat and then to the webapps folder. If you went with the defaults this would be at the following location:
    • C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\webapps
  6. Inside the webapps folder go to ExpereTestingSystem\WEB-INF\classes.
  7. Open the ExpereTestingSystem.properties file with plain text editor, such as Notepad.
    • Define the Expere Services URL. Remove the comment on the com.bankerssystems.xiets.config.EndPointLocation property line.
  8. Enter the value for your Expere Services URL; click the Start link to restart the Expere Testing System.
  9. To test the Expere Testing System installation, navigate to http://localhost:8080/ExpereTestingSystem/.
